Hearts reduce rates for Confederations Cup match

Accra, Oct 11, GNA - The Management of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club has decided to offer soccer fans a bonanza when they face Sable de Batie of Cameroun in the second leg of the fourth round Confederations Cup match at Accra Sports stadium on Sunday, October 17 by reducing the rates for the match.

A Press Statement signed by Mr Ashford Tettey Oku, Administrative Manager of the Club on behalf of the Management copied to the GNA Sports said the gesture is in appreciation of the wonderful support and co-operation of the fans during its previous CAF matches.

The VIP would attract a flat rate of 100,000 cedis, Wings - 80,000 cedis, Upper Terrace 50,000 cedis, Osu South and the North Wings - 30,000 cedis while admission to the Popular Stand which would attract a flat rate of 20,000 cedis would be strictly by Raffle Coupon holders only.

Mr Oku said the VIP tickets are on sale at the Club's Secretariat during working hours from Monday, 11th to Friday, 15th October. He said apart from the Presidential Box, all Complimentary or Identity Cards are invalid and holders would not be admitted.

The Administrative Manager advised all supporters desirous to watch the match to make to the booths and pay and enter the stadium since loitering around the gates would not be entertained and offenders would be dealt with accordingly.

He advised the Press and holders of VIP Complimentary Cards to use Gate 25 whilst those with Presidential Box Cards are to use the main gate.

Meanwhile, referees from the Cote D' Ivoire are expected to officiate the match. Referee Nahi M. Leonard is to be in the middle with Koffi Kablan and Ettiegne Mian as assistant referees One and Two with Annan Lomotey of Ghana as the fourth referee.

The Match commissioner is Sani Ibrahim from Niger with Djibril Traore of Mali as the General Coordinator.
