Burkina Tops Ghana's group

In the space of ninety minutes in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso leapt from the bottom of Group Two to the top after a 2-0 victory at home to Uganda.

Moumouni Dagano opened the scoring for the Stallions after half an hour, and Aziz Nikiema doubled the lead with sixteen minutes left.

The victory gives Burkinabe six points in the group, and takes them above South Africa, who also have six points, on the number of goals scored.

Uganda are bottom of the group but are one of four teams tied on four points.
