Officials of Astana are blocking Patrick Twumasi’s dream move to mainstream Europe after rejecting numerous offers from Spain.

Ghanasportsoline.com’s reliable sources reveal the player is being prevented by the Kazakhstani Club despite some good offers tabled down for the services of the highly-rated Ghanaian attacker.

Twumasi has been in top form in the last three seasons emerging as one of Ghana’s most outstanding performers in Europe.

The attacker last season bagged 14 goals to win the best player accolade at the Club.

Having served the Kazakhstani Champions for the past five years, the Club are unwilling to release the 23-year-old who remains a top target for several Clubs in Spain this summer.

The Ghanaian international who has just six months left on his contract at Astana has been the hottest commodity for Clubs in mainstream Europe.

Astana are said to have already rejected several offers from England and Scotland.

The Red Bull Academy product could also leave for free after the expiration of his deal with Astana having refused a contract extension with the Club.

Ghanasportsonline.com’s checks reveal the Club (Astana) however blocked the player’s invitation to the Black Stars ahead of the upcoming friendly matches against Japan and Iceland forcing Coach Kwesi Appiah to exclude him from his squad for the double hurdle.
