Former Liberty Professionals striker Bernard Arthur has set sights on winning the Tanzanian Premier League just a season in East Africa.

Bernard Arthur joined Tanzanian giants Azam FC at the end of last season and has been an integral part of the club.

Azam FC are second on the league, 8 points behind Simba FC with nine games to end the season.

“We are third on the log and are behind leaders Simba by eight points. With eight games to go, I am sure we can snatch the title” Arthur told footballmadeinghana.com

“It has been a good start for here and I owe it to God, focus, determination and hard work as I take my training serious.”

Meanwhile, the player who scored 8 goals for Liberty Professionals before moving to Tanzania has explained that the League there is well marketed.

“The Tanzanian league is well branded than Ghana league, it is similar to the South Africa league. Their branding is very high”

“With player quality all nations have it, some are good and some are bad as pertains in Ghana.”
