The Dzamefe Commission did not do a thorough job - Sannie Daara

The Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association Ibrahim Sannie Daara has hit hard at the Dzamefe Commission which was set up to probe into issues of Black Stars poor showings at the 2014 world cup in Brazil.

Commenting on the Commission's report which asked the GFA to account for some 577,000 dollars ,during an interview with Angel TV's Esther Abankwa over the weekend on the Station's Sports program On the Turf, Ibrahim Sannie Daara noted that the commission made some 'some school boy errors' in its report.

According to him,they failed to ask GFA's President Kwesi Nyantekyi about the said amount during the three days he was questioned at the commission during its sitting, only to include it in their final report.
"Our suspicion before the commission was set up was based on some of these things. They made school boy errors. How can you rule without questioning? The mistakes they made were grave and unpardonable. When we get the opportunity, we would challenge this. I believe the hatred for Nyantekyi resulted in that.'he said.

Ibrahim Sannie Daara further questioned why Moses Foh Amoaning jumps to the defence, whenever anything is said about the Commission's report.

The 3-Member Commission was made up of Justice Senyo Dzamefe, Justice of the Court of Appeal, Chairman; Moses Foh-Amoaning Esq., Lawyer and Sports Administrator, Member, and Kofi Anokye Owusu Darko, Sports enthusiast, Member.

The Committee was set up by the President following public outcry on the early exit of the National Football Team, The Black Stars from the 2014 World Cup Tournament in Brazil.
