Accra, July 29, GNA - The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Thursday appointed Dr Nyaho Nyaho -Tamakloe, Chairman of the Ghana Football Association, (GFA) into the Ethics and Fair play Committee of the Confederation.
A release signed by Mr Kofi Nsiah, General Secretary of the Association copied to the GNA Sports said the appointment, which takes immediate effect, would be for a period of two years.
Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe, a 61 year-old medical practitioner was appointed GFA Chairman in April this year and was once Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak Sporting Club in the 80's.
During his reign as Hearts Chairman, he was credited with restructuring an "aging Phobian team" with a youthful side, which later came to be known as "the Musical Youth".
The GFA Chairman is seen by many as being his own man and a strict disciplinarian, hence his current appointment to the position.
