Ex-national and Hearts of Oak goalie, Ali Jarah has opined that it would have been good had his former club gone in for former Kotoko goalkeeper, Isaac Amoako.

According to him, he was surprised when news broke that, Dreams FC had grabbed the highly experienced goal tender, wondering why the Phobians didn’t make any move for the goalie.

“Isaac Amoako is one of the few goalkeepers in Ghana that has all the qualities of a good goalkeeper. Apart from that, he has a lot of experience which makes him an asset” Jarah told FootballMadeInGhana.com in an interview.

“A good goalkeeper must know how to initiate attacks and how to arrange or organised his defenders at all time. I’ve watched Amoako for years; I believe he does that very well. His experience is one that no one who knows the game will overlook” Jarah added.

Kotoko recently declined to renew the contract of Amoako, who spent more than ten years at the club, citing no specific reason. Dreams FC however engaged the goalie and subsequently announced his signing for unspecified number of years.
