Maidenhead United sign Ghanaian winger Nana Owusu

Maidenhead United have signed former Reading winger of Ghanaian descent Nana Owusu.

The 21-year-old was released by the Royals in the summer of 2016 and, after going on trial at Tranmere Rovers, spent last season at Basingstoke Town where he scored 12 goals in 41 appearances.

The move follows Chinedu McKenzie’s departure from the club earlier this week.

The wide man is expected to be a key man for manager Alan Devonshire.
