Nungua's Patrick Bortey second-half strike from a counter-attack was enough to hand them all points in the McDan Ga Adangbe Homowo Unity Cup clash at the La Town Part on Monday.

The matchday two of the special tournament aimed at fostering unity among the Ga Adangbe youth drew hundreds of fans from the neighbouring suburbs.

Ga Mashie pressured their opponents for the equalizer on many occasions, with one resulting in a penalty but they wasted the scoring chance.

Matchday three will pit Teshie against Prampram on November 3 at the same venue.

Ada and La set the tone of the event last week with La defeating Ada 2-0.
McDan Group chairman Dr Daniel McKorley has described the one month tourney as highly competitive.

The final is fixed for December 3 within the winner taking home a trophy and a special cash prize.
