World Youth bronze medalist Moses Odjer who now ply's his trade in Italy with seria B side US Salernitana has hailed the club's impact and influence on his progress in football.

Odjer who has been with the club for two years says he has been embraced as a member of the Salernitana family and he is now playing some of his best football as a result of the support and love shown to him by teammates, management and staff at the club.

The 21 year old claims that his improvement as an all round player is down to the fact that he has settled down quickly in the club and he hopes that his progress will help him land a good deal in the seria A in the near future.

Odjer was speaking exclusively on Kwese Home Run where he also talked about his early playing days in Ghana.

The diminutive midfielder also revealed that he can cook and that has helped him because when he first got to Italy he struggled with their food but now he has adapted to the Italian culture and can now eat the Italian food.

A number of clubs have been monitoring the Ghanaian with the possibility of poaching him but Odjer says he would only move if the right deal is put on the table.

The Ashaiman bred player described how life in Ashaiman was when he used to join public transport to go and train with Thomas Partey of Ateltico Madrid.

He recalled how they both grew up together in Ashaiman playing colts football .

The duo now see themselves as source of inspiration to young footballers in Ashaiman and beyond.

The midfielder is relishing a senior national team call up as he believes that moment will come soon in his career.
