RFA urged to release disciplinary committee's findings

Enchi, Feb. 20 GNA - Mr. Lawrence Cudjoe, Chairman of Soccer Wise Professionals (SWP) football club, a second division team based at Enchi in the Aowin-Suaman District of the Western Region has appealed to the Regional Football Association (RFA) to release the results of the on-going second division league.

Mr. Cudjoe made the appeal through the GNA Sports at Enchi on Monday. He said though the disciplinary committee of the RFA had solved a dispute that arose between SWP and Amenfi United on December 21 last year, the findings of the committee had still not been made public. Mr. Ahmed Hassan the coach of SWP said the club was poised for action and he would do everything possible to ensure that the club qualifies to the first division this year.

In another development, the Member of Parliament for Aowin-Suaman Mr John K. Ackah has donated a set of football jerseys, footballs and a weeding machine to both teams to boost their preparations towards qualification to the first division.
