Executive Committee member of the Ghana FA, Wilfred Osei Kweku Palmer has denied reports suggesting that he said there was a rift between the President of the Ghana FA Kwesi Nyantakyi and his vice George Afriyie, adding those reports are calculated.

According to Palmer he was asked a question about a rumour in town purporting that there is a rift between the two which he affirmed.

"The journalists asked me whether I have heard about a rumour that the two gentlemen are not happy with each other which i said yes, i have also heard the same rumour," Parlmer told GHANAsoccernet.com

"I went on further to say that even if there is anything like that, the two are grown ups and can handle their own issues. However, if it is proven true and it comes to the ExCo, we will address it," he added.

The celebrated football administrator however expressed shock as to why the journalist took part of the audio away and presented only aspect in which he was affirming the issue without bringing the questioning and rumour aspect.

Palmer is the President of Division One League side Tema Youth FC.
