Experienced Great Olympics defender Dan Quaye is highly optimistic that the Wonder Club will return to the Ghana Premier League next season.
The 35-year-old joined his mother club last season but stayed after they were relegated and vowed to work hard to ensure their return.
“We have set for ourselves a remarkable return to the Premier League after just a year in the soccer wilderness and there is no turning back”, he stressed.
He conceded that life in the wilderness was difficult but they had committed themselves to the quest to return to the premiership.
“It was very difficult for us to be relegated from the Ghana League. We really felt the pain. I know our fans are still supporting us to return”, he added.
“Before we started the 2015/2016 Division One League, we assured fans we would come back in no time. We are currently playing well in the lower tier and if we qualify we will be the happiest on earth.”
Quaye has played most of their games this season and has performed well to the satisfaction of his coach, Godwin Attram, who has tipped his captain as one of the most committed players he has ever worked with.
The wonder club are on top of the Zone Three table of the Division One League with 31 points and are closely followed by Okyeman Planners
