Ghana attacker Jordan Ayew is set to work under former Chelsea boss Roberto Di Metteo at Aston Villa.

The Italian trainer is expected to be confirmed as new Villa manager in the next 48 hours after agreeing terms with the relegated Premier League Club.

The 45-year-old who is reported to have agreed a £35,000-a week contract deal with Aston Villa hence will take over as the substantive head Coach of the side barren no last minute snag.

The former West Bromwich manager is expected to help Aston Villa back to the English Premier League.

Jordan Ayew who finished as the team’s top scorer in the English Premier League last season will be hoping to hold on to his position in the team under the incoming new manager.

Ayew is currently with the Black Stars team preparing for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mauritius on Sunday.

The former Lorient forward would possibly consider a move away from his Club (Aston Villa) should an offer be submitted for his services.
