Hearts gives Kotoko GH¢ 50,000.00 cheque

The management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko will cash a cheque of GH¢ 50,000.00 which was handed to the club last week as a fulfilment of promise made to the team prior to the ‘Super Clash’.

Mr. Christopher Damenya promised the playing body GH¢ 1,500.00 each for a win over fierce rivals Accra Hearts of Oak, and be fulfilled his promise after the team won the game.

According to Sportscrusader.com sources, management will cash the cheque within the week, and share it to the players as promised by Mr. Damenya.

Asante Kotoko defeated Hearts of Oak 1-0 courtesy of Soulama Abdulaye’s howler after a back pass from Richard Akrofi.
