Ghana youth attacker Raphael Dwamena scored the consolation goal for Liefering when the Red Bull Salzburg feeder club suffered a 2-1 home loss against St. Polten in the Austrian second-tier league on Friday.

The front-man, who started the game alongside 2015 U20 FIFA World Cup Ghana goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi, raced Liefering into the lead as early as the 7th-minute.

But Polten levelled the scoring just after the break and eventually won the tie to mount pressure on the league leaders.

The goal was Dwamena's second of the season for Liefering who could also gain promotion to the Bundesliga.

While he was scoring on the evening, goalkeeper Ati was booked in the second half for a bad challenge on a Polten forward.

Midfielder David Atanga has been promoted to the Red Bull Salzburg first team and was not in the Liefering squad for the game while injury returnee Isaac Vorsah also missed out.
