Ghana youth international Patrick Asmah has arrived in Italy to start his career with Italian Serie A side Atalanta, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report.

He is expected in Atlanta later on Friday to settle down and begin his trade.

The 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup star signed four-year deal during the January transfer window in a deal which was brokered by renowned football agent Oliver Arthur.

He has been transferred from lower division side Accra United FC.

Asmah, 18, spent last season on loan at BA United for first team experience and it was there he caught the eyes of the Ghana U20 handlers.

His defensive qualities and overall performance earned him a place in the Ghana U23 team which played at the 2015 All Games in Brazzaville, Congo.
