Coach Tony Allotey impressed

Accra, July 7, GNA -- Coach Tony Allotey head of technical directors of Stay Cool Professionals has said that he is impressed with his side's performance in their eighth week game against Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports stadium last Saturday. The coach who was playing his first game after reassuming his position said though he came into the match for a win, "but I am impressed about the one all score line." "Settling for a drawn game against a big club like Hearts should be an encouragement for any club, especially, a small club like Stay Cool," he stressed. The coach told the GNA Sports that his boys played to instruction knowing the strength of the Phobians on one -on-one basis saying he asked his boys to mark the Hearts players in pairs. Coach Allotey said he packed his midfield after the recess because Stay Cool initially played an attacking game. The coach who two seasons ago lifted Alhaji Grusahs King Faisal from
the nick of relegation said though Phobians were the better side on the afternoon the difference between the two sides was his team's zeal to win. Coach Allotey said that he did not agree with the assertion that his side were the whipping boys of the league and was however pleased that the Professionals proved that last Saturday. On what connoisseurs of the game should expect in subsequent games, he sent a word of caution to all clubs that " the signals are on the wall that we are no mean side and clubs must watch out for our up-set in the league" he told GNA.
It would be recalled that Coach Allotey qualified the Professionals but to the dismay of their fans he was relegated to the position of a deputy coach to Tom Vernor, formally of Accra Hearts of Oak when the league commenced. The Professionals turned out to be the whipping boys of the league after having bowed 1-3, 1-2 to Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Kpando Hearts of Lions respectively. Last Saturday's score line turned out to be their best performance in the on-going league.
