The agent of Cagliari midfielder Godfred Donsah has revealed that he is yet to receive formal contacts and bids from Manchester City and Arsenal after both Premier League sides sent representatives to watch the youngster.
The 18-year-old has been impressive with the Islanders in the Italian Serie A, playing 18 matches and scoring two goals from his defensive midfield role.
“There are only rumours. I’m yet to hear anything concrete from them, but I’d not be surprised if Arsenal or Manchester City show up. His assessment is about €10 million,” Oliver Arthur told Tuttomercatoweb.com.
“I think he's absolutely ready to play for a great team. He has a special talent, despite his young age,” he said.
Arthur said the Serie A or Premier League is the future of Donsah, but believes the Ghanaian intends to grow up in Italy before moving to a bigger club outside the country.
The agent confirmed reports of interest from some Italian top flights but insisted that nothing was on the table.
“I've heard of interest from Roma and Juventus but not in an official manner. I can confirm that I have not discussed anything with any club executive,” he said.
In an interview with Goal last month, Donsah hinted that he was ready to play in any country provided he is granted an adequate playing time to showcase his talent.
