Neoplan whip Bofoakwa

Premier League club Tano Bofoakwa on Sunday suffered a humiliating 0-2 defeat at the hands of visiting Bekwai-Ashanti-based Neoplan Stars, a first division side in a friendly football match played at the Sunyani Coronation park.

Neoplan who outclassed the Bofoakwa boys in all the department of the game netted a goal in each half. Fielding mostly newly recruited players to test the might of the team before the commencement of this year's national premier league competition, Bofoakwa proved no match for the well-groomed Bekwai boys for most part of the match.

Hundreds of Bofoakwa's supporters who witnessed the match in their quest to see the performance of their club's new entrants were highly disappointed and wondered how the team could fare in the forthcoming premier league if such third-rate players were recruited.

The worry of the supporters deepened when a penalty awarded Bofoakwa was painfully wasted during the second half.
