Okrah to join Hacken on six-month loan

Bechem United have agreed to loan playmaker Augustine Okrah to Swedish side BK Hacken for six months, Africanfootball.com has exclusively reported.

Details are still emerging but we understand Bechem will pocket €200,000 for the half season deal because Hacken guaranteed the 20-year-old first team football.

BK Hacken can exercise the first option to buy clause in his contract before the end of the loan.

Bechem United opted for the loan because the club believes the player will be worth more than the €450,000 market value after exposure in Sweden.

Okrah was top scorer of the Ghana Premier League with 16 goals last season.

He was named the 2013 Sports Writers Association of Ghana Premier League Player of the Year.

Okrah will join compatriot Nasiru Mohammed.
