John Mensah and agent to decide on future

Ghana international John Mensah will meet his agent Fabien Piveteau to decide on his next step following the relegation of FC Nitra.

The former Black Stars skipper signed a short term contract with the Slovakian club in March after almost eight months out with injury.

“I will first go to France and meet with my manager and what he will say we will take it from there,” Mensah told Journal Sports in relations to his future.

“I had a good experience at Nitra FC. I met very cordial and friendly people - in the club, in the dressing room and in the city. Nitra is a very nice city where I moreover feel safe. We'll have only the best memories. I will always remember the time I spent here.”

Nitra was relegated from the Slovakian top flight in the just ended season and it is not likely the guardsman will sign a new deal with them.
