Turkey: Kwame Karikari returns to face Bucaspor

Balikesirspor received a massive boost ahead of their trip to Bucaspor for the Turkish second-tier game on Saturday as Ghanaian striker Kwame Karikari joined the squad.

The 22-year-old was included in an 18-man squad announced by manager Ismail Ertekin after returning to training on Wednesday following a recovery from an ankle injury.

The AIK Solna loanee was sent to Izmir for quick treatment and the striker recovered in time to join his team-mates for the game.

Karikari has become the most important player for Balikesirspor’s promotion ambitions as he has notched 11 league goals.

However, during his absence the club has dropped vital points and they want to quickly get their campaign back on track.
