Black Queens, Satellites receive bonuses

The Black Queens have now been paid their bonus of ?4.1m each for wining their return home encounter against Senegal during the qualifying series played in Kumasi.

The Queens who won 3-1 to secure a ticket for the biennial competition were paid their bonus on Monday. They have been allowed to send their money home but to return to camp on Wednesday November 28 to continue preparations towards the African Nations Cup competition in Nigeria next month.

Meanwhile, the national under U-20 team, the Black Satellites also reported to camp on Monday after a three-day break. The Satellites broke camp last Saturday 23 November after they have been paid the remaining fifty percent of their winning bonus in their home encounter against Tunisia in Kumasi last month.

The Satellites who won by a lone goal in the said game received ?4.1m each, having already received the same amount last month. The Satellites were back in camp on Monday 25 November to continue with their preparation towards their African Youth tournament slated for Burkina Faso next January.
