Adomah sets Middlesbrough and Ghana targets

Ghana international Albert Adomah believes 2014 will be a big year for him at club and national levels.

The winger is aiming to help Middlesbrough gain promotion to the English Premier League as he eyes a 2014 World Cup call-up with the Black Stars.

“I’ve got a target to reach and from a team point of view the aim is to get promotion this year,” Adomah told Gazzette. “If not, then hopefully we will get it the year after.”

He added: “From my personal point of view, if my club football goes well I could be selected for Ghana for the World Cup. 2014 could be a massive year for me, hopefully I will go to my first World Cup.”

The 26-year-old, who was signed by Boro last summer for one million Pounds is the club's top scorer this season.
