Ghana’s Patrick Nyarko has paid glowing tribute to dismissed Chicago Fire coach Frank Klopas after he revealed at a dinner that he was leaving the club.
“Since he's been here, it was really consistent until pretty much until the start of this year,” Nyarko told MLSsoccer.com.
“We struggled a little bit, so looking at that standpoint, I think he did a great job getting those results we needed. We missed the playoffs by a couple of points, on the last day of the season. We were having a difficult time two-and-a-half years ago, and he almost led us to the playoffs. I think he's done a tremendous job.”
The Greek-American was at the helm of affairs for six years being a technical director for four years and head coach for two before being dismissed.
