Under-17 side set AC Milan, Inter & Juventus friendly

The Black Starlets are scheduled to play three warm-up games before heading to Morocco for the African Under-17 championship.

The U17 side are to face Italian giants AC Milan, Inter Milan and Juventus as they prepare for the tournament.

The team is already in Italy for a two-week training tour. They consist of a 25-man squad headed by coach Paa Kwesi Fabian.

“We have made arrangements to play the youth teams of AC Milan, Juventus and Inter Milan,” Black Starlets management committee chairman Fred Crentsil told Joy FM ahead of their departure on Wednesday.

“We’re very determined to go out there and make our people happy by winning the title,” he added.

The 2013 African Under-17 Championship will take place in Morocco from April 13-27.
