Andre Ayew makes CAF Player of the Year shortlist again

Black Stars midfield gem, Andre 'Dede' Ayew, has made the CAF African Player of the year shortlist for the second year running.

Just Thursday morning, Dede Ayew lost out on the BBC African Footballer of the Year shortlist which he won last year.

The 22-year-old and Marseille star was named together with the Ivorian duo of Didier Drogba and Yaya Toure, Demba Ba from Senegal and Cameroonian Alexandre Song at a ceremony in Accra.

Last year, Dede Ayew made the shortlist and came in third losing to Ivorian Yahya Toure and Seydou Keita of Mali.

The final event will be held on December 20 at the State banquet Hall in Accra.
