US Manufacturing Company Sponsors Metro Stars

L- Sporto, a US sports manufacturing company based in Italy has presented sports items worth 19, 000 dollars to Metro Stars, a second division team based in Tuba in the Central Region.

The items included four sets of jerseys with 30 pieces in each set, 90 pairs of track suits and same number of football boots and leisure wear.

Mr Moses Brew, chairman of the club told GNA Sports on Wednesday that the items were presented to the club by Dr Sam Ampofo, a FIFA agent and his wife.

He said that the items were part of L-Sporto's sponsorship package to enable the team to participate in the under 19 Dana cup tournament which would take place in Denmark after the World Cup.

Mr Brew added that L-Sporto has also agreed to sponsor the club to the premier level.
