Dong Bortey: ‘I miss playing for Aduana

Aduana Stars winger Bernard Dong Bortey has told Pravda Sports 93.5 FM that he is eyeing a strong come-back to play again for the Dormaa based side in the Ghana Premier League.

The ex-Hearts of Oak player is serving a one year suspension handed to him by the FA’s disciplinary committee for assaulting a match official during an FA Cup match with King Solomon in Dormaa in January.

The striker however is not resting and has been training regularly with Aduana despite his ban.

“I miss playing for Aduana Stars. Even the players are not happy with my absence but still I am an Aduana player and I am still in Dormaa training with the team.

“Everything is going to be well with me. The management, fans and players are supporting me so I think everything will be alright,” said Dong Bortey for whom Aduana Stars are preparing to appeal his ban in the coming days.
