Footyghana.com has discovered that players of newly promoted Wassaman United have been sleeping in the Doping Rooms of the Sekondi Sports Stadium for the past three weeks.
Training shoes and boots have been left strewn in the hallway infront of the doping rooms, and a look inside the rooms revealed some student mattresses on the floor, towels hanging on the partitions and personal possessions of the players lying around.
A member of the Wassaman United playing body who spoke to footyghana.com on condition of anonymity confirmed that the players have been living in such squalid conditions for over three weeks, adding that the team had left for Kpando at the time footyghana.com chanced upon the state of the rooms.
The player also told footyghana that the Wassaman United players have been training on the Sekondi Stadium training pitch.
