I knew I will be dropped - Taylor

Accra Hearts of Oak player Charles Taylor says he knew that he would not be part of Coach Fred Osam Dodou for the African Cup of Nations team even before the list was released last week.

He said the Black Stars Head Coach reportedly complained of his apparent lack of discipline and attitude towards training, a charge he claim innocence though admitted of reporting late to camp on time after the Ghana Egypt match for which the veteran coach slashed his allowance by 20 pounds sterling.

‘’I know l was not part of coach Osam Dodou’s plans for Mali 2002’’, soft spoken Taylor told a local radio station.

The exclusion of Taylor and Austria based Charles Amoah sparked of heated debate amomg soccer fans only weeks after Taylor was voted as the most exciting player in the just ended local league season.

Meanwhile he is reported to have withdraw from the national under 23 team preparing for an invitation tournament in South Africa
