Tiero eyes Black Stars return

Resplendent midfielder William Tiero is relishing his return to the senior national soccer side the Black Stars soon, “Where are they” can confirm.

The former Kotoko, Liberty Professionals player after a successful three year stint with Portuguese side, Academica Coimbra joined Bulgaria giants CSKA Sofia, and indications are that Tiero is one of the key performers; endearing himself to the Bulgarian fans with his deft touches.

Responding to whether he will answer to the Black Stars roll call in future by Charles Osei Asibey on “Where are they” on Thursday, he answered in the affirmative amid chuckle saying, “If the opportunity presents itself, why not? I will readily rejoin the team.” He mentioned that he planned moving to England for the premiership but things did not work out the way he expected, hence his move to Bulgaria, where he is making a steady progress.

According to him, the Bulgarian fans clamor for his arrival in Sofia, coupled with his current red-hot form is making his stay in his new home enjoyable.

He recollects with fond memories the spectacular goals he scored when he was with Kotoko against Ashgold, Ghana Vs Paraguay, 2-1, (Olympic Games) and Liberty Vs Hearts of Oak when he was with Liberty.

Tiero has given the assurance that he is in the best of shapes to return to the Stars camp soon.

He congratulated Happy FM on their CIMG program of the year Award.
