Accra, Aug. 20, GNA - La Palm Casino, a member of an international sports betting company has donated 3,279 dollars to New Horizon Special School in Accra.

The amount represents proceeds realized from predictions made on Ghana's matches at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, which amounted to 15, 000 dollars.

Abdulai Nuhu, Marketing Manager of La Palm Casino said the gesture is part of efforts by management of the Casino to support the vulnerable in the Ghanaian society.

He said his outfit has over the years' embarked on similar donations and will seek to give more back to the society in the near future.

The Marketing Manager said the La Palm Casino operates to a very high standard and the management and staff ensure their clients enjoy a memorable evening of entertainment and top service.

Nuhu said even though Ghana could not win any medal at the World Cup, La Palm Casino has been able to raise funds from the event to support the less privileged in the society.
