AOC F/C emerges Bakatue Gala champions

Elmina, July 13, GNA - AOC F/C beats BB United 1-0 to lift the Bakatue Community Gala Cup in a special tournament played at the Martin's park near the Elmina beach on Sunday. The event, which was the finals of the gala, was to climax the Bakatue Festival that is celebrated among the chiefs and people of Edina Traditional Area. Eight teams participated in the competition sponsored by MTN, Ghana's leading telecommunication company. AOC F/C, therefore, received for their prize, an undisclosed amount of money in addition to MTN souvenirs. The participating teams also received assorted souvenirs from the sponsor. Mr Eugene Ntreh, Events and Sponsorship Coordinator of MTN, after the competition, said the sponsorship package was part of the company's social responsibility to promote sports and culture to help foster unity among community members. 13 July 10
