Supporters of Dwarfs ecstatic over promotion to elite division

Cape Coast, May 11, GNA - A large crowd of supporters took to the streets in the Cape Coast Metropolis last night to celebrate Ebusua Dwarfs qualification to the Premier division.

The obviously excited jubilant supporters went on a carnival through the principal streets amidst tooting of horns by cabbies and private cars and later converged at the 'London Bridge', a popular sport in the Metropolis.

Asafo and Kolomashie music groups chanted and showered praises on the playing body and executive of the Club for bringing back the Club to the Premier division after five years sojourn in the Division One. Mr Kwesi Anin, a former Chairman of Dwarfs called on citizens of the Metropolis to ensure they contribute both in kind and cash to sustain the team.

Nana Aidoo, Chief Executive Officer of the Club thanked individuals, organizations and supporters for contributing in diverse ways towards the promotion of the Club to the Premier division.
