I’m Not In A Rush But - Opare

Ghanaian youngster Daniel Opare has confessed that although he is not in a rush to make it into the starting line-up of Real Madrid, he wants to be fielded more often than he is at present.

The 19-year-old is thirsty for more playing time and that might have necessitated his request for a loan spell, which was turned down by his club during the January transfer window.

He told Ghanasoccernet: "They said I am a good product, they can't allow me to go to another team, and later if they want me back I will be telling them that I am safe with the new club.

"They said my future is at Real Madrid and that I shouldn't worry, they will soon put me into action.

“I don't feel frustrated at all and am not in a rush, even though I want to play regularly."

The promising right-back has been training with the Real youth side Castella and the first team set-up, under the eyes of coach Manuel Pelligrini.

He joined the Spanish giants after impressing at the 2007 FIFA Under-17 Championships where Ghana finished fourth, and was part of the 2009 FIFA Under-20 World Cup winning squad in Egypt.
