Dwarfs to face Starke in crucial match

Cape Coast, Aug. 7, GNA - Sports fans in and around the Cape Coast Metropolis will be privileged to witness free of charge a crucial match between Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs and Dunkwa-On-Offin Starke to climax the Zone 2B Division One League at the Robert Mensah stadium on Sunday, August 9.

The winner of the match will qualify for the zonal Middle League scheduled for August 16. Nana Edu, Chief Executive Officer of Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs who disclosed this to the GNA Sports in Cape Coast on Thursday, appealed to supporters of the Club to turn out in their numbers and to comport themselves during the match. He said he was optimistic that Dwarfs will win the match and asked both the supporters and the general public to come to cheer the Club to victory.

Nana Edu expressed dismay at the unsportsmanship behaviour of supporters of Tarkwa United during their match with Dwarfs at Tarkwa on Wednesday and called on the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to investigate the incident.

He claimed that he and other executive members were not allowed to enter the park where the match was played, while two coaches of the Club were also assaulted.
