Transfers To Be Investigated

ACCRA GREAT Olympics have filed a writ to seek an injunction into the use of four of their former players by Asante Kotoko and Ghapoha FC.

The players are Aziz Ansah, Joe Louis and Fuseini Adams, who featured for Asante Kotoko, and Tahiru Brimah of Ghapoha FC.

The Interim Management Committee has condemned their transfer to Kotoko and Ghapoha, since according to the Great Olympics management, it was not done properly by the last administration of the club headed by Ade Coker.

Against this background, the IMC drew the attention of both Kotoko and Ghapoha to the need to re-negotiate the transfer of the players, which they failed to adhere.

According to an IMC member, though Great Olympics initially took into consideration the repercussion of the injunction especially with the future of the players, they had no option than to seek justice now because the two clubs have not taken their proposals.

The two clubs, he hinted have been served with a writ and would be heading for the courts in the next few days.
