Baba Armando Will Come Good: - Odotei

KUMASI based King Faisal's Chief Executive Officer, Vincent Sowah Odotei has called off the bluff of reigning GLO Top 4 title holders, Heart of Lions as the two sides meet in Kpando for the 4th week fixture of the on-going Ghanaian Premier League.

With just a point from a possible nine, the former Hearts of Oak man is optimistic of victory ahead of the upcoming clash this weekend. Speaking to 90 Minutes, he said: “We have started to find our rhythm as the technical team has been working round the clock to bring the best out of the materials available. We still harbour the dream of being amongst the top 4 at the end of the season and I must admit that we still hold on to that dream. Our worst result on Sunday against Lions will see us getting a point,” he stressed.

Commenting on media speculation linking out of job Bashir Hayford to Faisal, he debunked such reports as unfouded and without basis. He said: “To think we (King Faisal) have been in touch with Bashir Hayford is something new to me. If anyone from my camp has had any interaction with him, then I'll say that it hasn't come to my notice.” On Baba Armando, Odotei thinks once the former Kotoko top marksman recovers from his niggling injury, he will come good. “Armando will prove all the doubters wrong when he recovers from his injury. We believe in his capabilities that's why we went for him and at the appropriate time, we would see the Armando of old,” he added.
