The players are; Sammy Adjei and James Nanor both goalkeepers, Jacob Nettey, Amankwah Mireku, Charles Taylor, Adjah Tetteh, Joe Ansah and Emmanuel Osei Kuffour all of Hearts of Oak.

Others are; Osei Boateng goalkeeper, Lawrence Adjei, Nana Frimpong, Godwin Ablordey and Godfred Yeboah all of Asante Kotoko, Issa Mohammend of Hasaacas, George Essilfie of Great Olympics and Hamza Mohammend of Real Tamale United.

Players missing out from the squad are Ishmael Addo and Stephen Tetteh both of Hearts of Oak.It is not known if Ishmael Addo was dropped from the list of twenty-two players because of his expected move to Europe for trials or due to his failure to join the Black Stars team that prepared for the World Cup qualifier against Sierra Leone in Freetown, a fortnight ago, after persistent calls from the coach, Osam Doudu.
