Dwarfs beat Vipers 2-0 in special AIDS match

Cape Coast, March 24, GNA- Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday beat local rivals, Venomous Vipers 2-0 in a special match in aid of HIV/AIDS victim in the Central Region. Mr Michael Essandoh, Regional Coordinating Director, who presented the Cup to Dwarfs and congratulated them for their achievements, said the match, was organized by the Council to support people living with HIV/AIDS in the region.

Taking the kick-off under the instructions of referee, Joshua Mensah, Vipers started strongly but failed to translate their efforts into goals.

Dwarfs, in the 20th minute warmed themselves into the game and scored the opener through midfielder, Isaac Obeng, in the 35th minute. Dwarfs continued to dictate the pace in the second half and increased the tally to 2-0 through Kwame Kankyi in the 75th minute to seal the doom of Vipers.
