Bofoakwa Summons Kotoko Over ?85m

The chairman of newly relegated division one club Mr.Apraku Tuffour of Bofoakwah Tano football club yesterday through a court ballif summons Kotoko over failure to pay its debts owing to the club.

The writ which was issued on 29th November,2007 and signed by the Chief Justice Her lordship Mrs.Georgina Woods has it that Asante Kotoko football club have only eight days after service of this writ to cause an appearance without any failure which lead to judgement. In the writ, the chairman of Bofoakwah stated that Adusei Poku and David sarkodie were succeessfully transferred from Bofoakwah to Kotoko with an agreed sum ?100million which Kotoko made part payment of ?40million.The remaining ?60million upon an agreement Kotoko promised to pay by the end of October which compelled Bofoakwah to tkae this stand.

The remaining ?25million also according to ARK SPORTS investigation reveals that Akwasi Owusu who was also transferred to Kotoko by Bofoakwah is still left to be paid.

ARK SPORTS can also disclose that Berekum Arsenals will also get it writ of summons by the close today from Bofoakwah on their former goalie Ransford cudjoe. Berekum Arsenals also owns to tune of ?42million being transfer fee and onwards transfer of onwards transfer of the goalie from Arsenals to All Blacks.
