ENGLAND: FA Cup
Premiership strugglers Charlton Athletic crashed out of the FA Cup as they suffered a 2-0 defeat at League One Nottingham Forest on Saturday. Alan Pardew's side hit a new low in an already miserable season for the London club as first-half goals from Junior Agogo and Grant Holt put Forest into the fourth round.

FRANCE: Coupe de France
Ligue 1 Stade Rennes conceded two goals in extra-time to bow out 3-1 to third division Romorantin in the French Cup first round on Saturday. The game ended 1-1 after 90 minutes but visitors Romorantin then scored twice in quick succession to advance to the round of 32. John Mensah played the full game.

GREECE: Hellenic National League
OFI kept in touch with fourth-placed PAOK when they beat Atromitos 4-1 in Crete. Stelios Sfakianakis put OFI ahead in the sixth minute and Peter Ofori-Quaye, recalled to the Ghana squad in November, added a second in the 26th minute.
