Deadline day for squads

The guessing is over and by the close of today all 32 squads for the 2006 FIFA World Cup? will be known.

Some national coaches had already named their definitive 23-man lists prior to today's deadlines, while England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson will confirm the provisional party he announced seven days ago.

Although each national association must announce its squad for Germany today, the official lists will be confirmed by FIFA on Thursday at 12.00CET.
