Zikalala puts Fatau’s future in doubt

Goalkeeper Fatau Dauda’s future with Orlando Pirates is uncertain following the signing of Philani Zikalala.

Zikalala, 30, has joined Pirates after leaving fellow Absa Premiership side AmaZulu at the end of last season.

His arrival has increased the number of goalkeepers in the Buccaneers camp to four; adding to No1 Senzo Meyiwa and Brighton Mhlongo.

There are reports Dauda will be put on transfer despite impressing hugely with Ghana at the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals Brazil.

Dauda managed only three appearances for the Buccaneers last season when he joined from Ghana Premier League side AshantiGold.
