Zambia will fall in Ghana, says Mahatma

Ghana striker Mahatma Otoo insists the Black Stars will cruise to victory when they face Zambia in the final 2014 World Cup qualifying group match on September 6.

Mahatma, 23, who was the target of Mamelodi Sundowns before signing for Norwegian top flight side Sogndal is expected to be in coach Kwesi Appiah’s squad that will battle the Chipolopolo at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

The former Hearts of Oak talisman who claimed the Ghana Premier League goal king title with 20 goals could be partnering captain Asamoah Gyan and remains optimistic ahead of the game.

“Zambia will come out into the game very strong, but I bet you they will surely fall,” the Sogndal striker told Accra-based Asempa FM.

“We have enough quality, which in my opinion can pin them to the ground to better our chances of making it to Brazil 2014.”

The Black Stars are on top of the group and need a draw or a win to make it to the play-off phase of the qualifiers.
