Zambia release 26-man squad to face Ghana

Zambia coach, Herve Renard has named a 26-man squad for the 2014 World Cup qualifier against the Black Stars of Ghana on September 6 in Kumasi.

As usual, the team is a blend of the foreign based players and the local ones.

The 2012 Afcon champions have triumphed in the last two meetings with the Black Stars and are bent on continuing the trend.

Meanwhile, Ghana need just a draw in order to make it to the play-off stage of the qualifiers.

The Chipolopolos will be camping in Johannesburg, South Africa before leaving for Ghana.

Goalkeepers: Kennedy Mweene, Danny Munyau and Joshua Titima

Defenders: Kampamba Chintu, Davies Nkausu , Joseph Musonda, Christopher Munthali, Bronson Chama, Kabaso Chongo, Stopilla Sunzu, H. Himoonde

Midfielders: Emmanuel Mbola, Bruce Musakanya, Rainford Kalaba, Kondwani Mtonga, Nathan Sinkala, Chisamba Lungu, Fwayo Tembo, Noah Chivuta, Christopher Katongo and Mukuka Mulenga

Strikers: Jacob Mulenga, Emmanuel Mayuka, James Chamanga, Collins Mbesuma and Roja Kola
