Young midfield gem rejects Kotoko

WAFA midfielder, Gideon Waja, has rejected a possible move to Kumasi Asante Kotoko after talks between both sides collapsed, sportscrusader.com can exclusively reveal.

Information gathered indicates that, WAFA officials were not moved by Kotoko’s bid for the player and asked for more.

The 19-year-old midfielder is expected to undergo a trial this weekend with an unnamed South African Premier League side.

The versatile midfielder, who had a fruitful season in the 2015/16 Ghana Premier League season, has been on the radar of numerous clubs, both domestic and foreign, who are keen on acquiring his services.
