Women soccer league to be preceded by gala

Koforidua, May 10, GNA - The Eastern Regional Women Soccer League Clubs Association (ERWSOLCA) has decided that all clubs interested in participating in its maiden league this year should register with the Association by Friday, May 21, 2004.

The Clubs agreed that any club that fails to register by the said date would not qualify to participate in the gala tournament scheduled to precede the commencement of the league in June.

The clubs agreed to adhere to the decisions at their meeting at the regional secretariat of the National Sports Council at Koforidua this weekend.

The members decided to meet again on Thursday May 27, to review the registration exercise and to finalise the date for the gala tournament.
